FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long do Aluminum Docks last?
Aluminum frame boat docks are known for their durability and longevity. With proper care and maintenance, an aluminum dock can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years or more. This is because aluminum is a non-corrosive material that is resistant to rust and decay, making it an ideal material for marine environments. Additionally, aluminum is lightweight and easy to work with, which means that it can be easily repaired and modified if needed.
The deck panels lifespan will vary based on the material. Pressure treated decking will last 5-10 years while our MINIMESH Reinforced Grate can last as long as the docks.
How deep can Pole Docks be used?
We suggest that pole docks be used in less that 5ft deep water. This is because seasonal removal and installation of pole docks can become very difficult and even dangerous in deeper water.
If absolutely necessary, our pole docks can be installed in up 7ft of water with some additional bracing.
How deep can Floating Docks be used?
Floating docks are typically used when the water is too deep for pole docks.
